About the M.J. in Business & Corporate Governance Law

The Program

The M.J. in Business and Corporate Governance Law is a two-year, part-time online degree program for business professionals who are seeking to better understand how to effectively add value to their every day work experience.

M.J. candidates will enjoy a curriculum focused on current real world business and legal issues; they will learn business and corporate governance law and develop the skills they need to explore and create proactive solutions within a business and regulatory context. The M.J. in Business and Corporate Governance Law courses focus generally on business and corporate governance classes. The degree is applicable in almost any public or private sector industry, as well as in the not-for-profit world, and is particularly relevant in the regulatory climate in which financially focused businesses operate such as banks, broker-dealer and commodities firms, investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms and any publicly traded company.

Simply stated, our mission is to educate diverse, talented students to contribute a deeper understanding of business and corporate governance law in the rapidly changing business world, while emphasizing the importance of regulatory compliance and ethical business conduct. Whether you are seeking to expand your employment opportunities or to just gain a better understanding of the legal aspects of business and corporate governance, this program will enable you to enhance your resume with a preferred qualification.
